Description
A Rope Lampshade That Lights From the Inside Out
Coiled by hand from espresso brown polyester rope, this dome shade hides a sage green second layer beneath a scalloped open rim. The darker outer surface pulls the eye up; the lighter inner layer throws the light back down. Two tones, one warm pool of light.
Four Details That Decide How a Shade Performs

Coil Construction
Feature: One continuous spiral of braided polyester rope, hand-stitched row against row from the crown down to the rim.
Advantage: There are no vertical seams and no glued joints, so each row locks the row beneath it into a single structural shell.
Benefit: The shade holds a clean curve from every angle and arrives through shipping without dents, sags, or a leaning profile.
Two-Tone Light Path
Feature: Deep espresso rope on the outside, a lighter sage green rope layer on the inside of the same shade.
